Known as the White Rock, this beach is one of the best beaches in South Maui. This is an uncrowded, lesser-known beach. Tourists are rarely seen in this beach and only the locals are seen swimming in the beach.
With the south end being slightly clearer and a bit larger, snorkeling is good around the rocky outcroppings at both ends on the beach. Boogie boarding is perfect for kids and beginners when seas are calm during south swells, his activity is decent too. For swimming and playing there is the sandy bottom entry where slopes are gentle. But the ocean can become unsafe with rip currents during large swells or what they call Kona storms.
