Oneloa Beach known also as Ironwoods beach is a ¼ mile long stretch of sandy beach next to Kapalua Beach and Ritz Carlton. Onolea means "long sand". This uncrowded beach lies midway along the trail of a 1.76-mile boardwalk known as Kapalua Coastal Trail. This starts at DT Fleming Beach down to the bay of Kapalua.
At the eastern end of the beach, there is a shallow reef at the shoreline that becomes exposed often.
Decent snorkeling can be found during calm oceans at both ends of the beach. Diving is best done around the rocky point to the north.
Even at the shoreline, swimming can be unsafe when surf is high. You must know that strong rip current forms here in big surf.
